ON BIBLE STUDY

This will be just a short and expeditious post, written on bullet points format. I had reunited with my girlaloos for a quick get together over coffee one fine weekday afternoon.
  • Coffee - Yes, we all love coffee and it always happen in coffee shops. It is nothing formal, just the chill and relax place help us to be on the mood to share our thoughts for the week. How God used a situation to glorify Him and advance His kingdom. What we learn from the situation and how stressful the scenario is. Basically, we work in the same industry and the level of stress recently is just crazy!
  • Topic -  Yes we need to set a specific topic for us to have a smooth meeting :) It is always a round table type of meeting and sharing one experience will definitely help the others listening to you. Maybe you missed out or struggling on something, then you will be surprised that most of the time, the answer is in the discussion.
  • Time Check - I am a fan of this, I swear! I particularly am very considerate of checking the time more often than not. If the call time is 730PM, then we start at 730 on the dot. And this will run for an hour 30 mins on a weekly basis. We always agree to held it on Tuesdays.
  • Notebook - Yes, we have our little dandy-handy notebooks because we just love to jot down!
  • Random - We appreciate any random topic or anything that we may want to bring on the table. By doing this, our discussion will be more fruitful, we are open to anything and everything under the sun. Throwing of ideas on what we will do next time, what we need to discuss, and make sure we have our homeworks ready by next session.
Just a thought on doing this with my girlfriends and with some couples, too. The time spent contributed a lot to what I have become. Before, I'm also attending sessions with Christian, due to some unfortunate events it didn't work out between the two of us to take it to the next level. But I'm not sad, in fact I'm so happy about the outcome! It is just more matured to be surrounded by couples and helping you out in that stage you are currently in (that time we were in courtship stage). Not that they are married but in a relationship for quite a long time. They're actually 3 pairs (of course us included though we are not a couple) meeting every Friday over dinner or coffee and talk. Glad to meet 2 beautiful couples from church that he is serving, and I admit it is indeed fun for a fellowship. Couples on Bible studies, sounds weird for some but I'm telling you it is not :) How can you not be thankful to be guided by couples who are older and wiser in the Lord? Admittedly, I am craving for this kind of gatherings again, like you guys meet regularly and help each other grow as all of you journey together in knowing Jesus more.

That's about it for now, and happy weekend!
