For the past week, I’m busy reading Bo Sanchez’ “How to Find your One True Love” courtesy of my friend Mavel. It’s really funny that I’d never read such books on how to find a date (perhaps). Doink. But seriously, reading those words from a guy really changed my perspective about dating. Since we are living in a Catholic-wide country, a date comes along with the word “romantic”. Well, that’s how it is.
“Chat over a cup of coffee” is the safest expression that Bo could ever come up with. I agree with him. We can go out and drink frap (since I’m cutting on too much caffeine) while chatting. In this case, the conversation will be lengthily, thus making us realize if we have some things in common. Read: things that you could actually agreed upon. The reason why we go out is to meet people, meet new friends—NOT to look for potential bfs or gfs. Ditto =)
As for me, I can actually widen my territories. My goal is not to find a bf but to make new friends. In the long run, Mr. Right will show up. Sometimes, we need to patient and be observant. Who knows? He maybe under my nose for quite some time now ;)
If everything fails, it is okay. Nobody cares if you are single, have you ever heard of someone said “I am incomplete because I don’t have a significant other”. NO.
Live life to the fullest and you will see how beautiful it is regardless if you are married, in a relationship or single. What matters is how you look into things that give meaning to your life =)
