SUNDATE

After having lab tests at TMC (The Medical City) time for brekky! Yesss, the happiness you'll feel after fasting! Woohoo! PS: I ate 3 cups of rice because I'm starving.

Don't you challenge me with my Karate skills. Hiiiii-yaaa! :P
I'd rather have this posted for Christ's sake rather than my video and picture that I was dancing Gimme Gimme haha! #crazygirl

My beautiful Mom who is sweet, and always prim and proper. I wish I'm like her, modest at all times :)

I'm such a FOODIE not matakaw kaya huwag kayong judgemental diyan :P

LoRd, thank you for a wonderful weekend that I was able to spend quality time again with my Mom. I can't wait for next weekend, I'm sure it will be a good date again! Looking forward to a relaxing Wensha sesh with Mommy Dearest :)

DIRT CHEAP TREATS

Ahhhhh!!!! What a heavenly feeling after you have waited more than a week to get a taste of this Jollibee's coffee float and only to find out that they ran out of it? You will wait another day which seems like forever!!

Okay, I'm just exaggerating it but yeah it was agony (Ang OA mo na Lexi!) when I thought I will get one last Monday! Too bad I get to have a taste of this last Tuesday after going to church. This will be my new addiction!! Plus I can get more than a cup of coffee a day na!! Woohoo!! Fasting lifted and I'm on my sanity back once more because of injecting caffeine to my veins. *evil grin*

I'm sure you are all wondering how much of a frugal kiddo I am and how much I make most out of SALE especially if it's SM having that sale!

The word "SALE" rings a bell to those like me who doesn't spend on things when not needed. But don't get me wrong, I love fashion too! Every girl does, don't you think? Maybe I do it differently that I ended up pulling it off that I just have pieces that I get to mix-and-match successfully. Haha :D *tip: wear accessories, they are much cheaper than a piece of clothing*

The flats above (I love shoes ☺) are 2 for Php 399.75 and I'm telling you young lady, they will last a looooong time. I swear by these flats by Solemate. The materials use, the insole, the sole and the design? Darn if you can buy 'em elsewhere. Check the sandals collection and you will will fall in love with the design and the price. Haha!

Touristers anyone? Not that they are the "Tourister" brand per se but they are  on Buy 1 Take 1 promo ☺ Choosy ka pa ba sa 2 for the price 1 which is less than 3k?

So, I'm all set for my upcoming travel plus with my nuts and bolts that will pass as "What's in my BAG?" Lol!

I AM SELFISH

Blame the weird concoction of siewmai (siomai, yes I know it was indeed spell creatively), kaya toast and coffee that it gave me the realization I badly needed.

A couple of days ago, I was having this conversation with a friend whom actually I wasn’t ranting to but more of telling that I have other plans for my career.

It wasn’t a habit that I always ask for myself. I grew up being contented with what I have, as the saying goes “Live by your means” which I have to agree that this should be practice by each individual. “Pray before you pay” must be your catchphrase every time you open your wallet or even before you swipe that card.

I can’t even remember an instance that I asked HiM for something material like expensive gadget or a luxurious tour to Paris so I can see how beautiful Eiffel Tower is despite me dying to see it since I’ve realized how much of a beautiful infrastructure it is. I’m pretty much happy that I got a collection with anything Eiffel on it.

For years, I have been praying for a career break. Selfish, eh? But never had it crossed my mind why it wasn’t given to me notwithstanding the fact that this is the first time I’m actually asking something for myself. Probably, I was too blinded that it is not meant for me and yet I keep on pushing my luck. Sounds pathetic but yes, that’s how badly I want to have it.

It took me months before I get to appreciate why it wasn’t given to me and I thank my friend for thinking and analyzing it on my behalf.

Wherever God puts You, there’s a reason for it. All you have to do is trust HiS will.

CRAVINGS

Never had I thought that at my age, I will still use summer to excuse myself in craving something sweet and cold. For the past days, I find myself craving for mostly drinks. Of course, it has to be to go from a fast food. A quick drop before I head out for work. Currently, I’m loving Chowking’s Nai Cha but due to it’s insistent public demand, I always ran out of this or maybe the store is about to close when I reached Chowking. So I was left with two choices (you thought no choice noh?!) Mc Donald’s Mc Float of Jollibee’s Coffee Float. Admittedly I hardly drink sodas, and was seriously cutting on my coffee intake. But, I’d rather go with the latter so today; I’m having Jollibee’s Coffee Float! I love its right mix of bitter-sweet taste. I took a sip before writing it to make sure my comments are damn truthful. ☺

This too shall pass as everyone is saying – I mean my cravings for cold drinks recently. However, Leche Flan (aka Caramel Custard) and Banana Cake cravings never left off. I can consume one llanera in one sitting and I’m not proud of it. Too much of something is bad and I know this for a fact. Nevertheless, I can’t say no this sweet, soft and creamy dessert! Even when I’m dining out and want some dessert ("para iwas umay" as my palusot) I already know what I want even before checking what they have on the menu. Just checking and making sure they are serving Leche Flan.
I don’t know how long this love for Leche Flan and Coffee Float will last but I’m happy the thoughts of having them makes me feel like I’m on cloud 9.
