last january 26, it was my mom's birthday and we were at parañaque to take part in the 16th feast day of sto. niño or popularly known as miraculous infant of providencia. food were all over the buffet table and devotees are all there waiting their time to witness the miracle of the sto. niño. before, i don't believe that it secretes oil and it keeps on flowing from his cape and sometimes, from his eyes. i really don't believe it at first, but when i get the chance to see it for my self, i was just amazed on how it is possible to have the oil flows from his cape and eyes? amazing. until now that still remains a mystery for me. but while i was waiting for our time, i came to this idea of writing about what i love being a child from the 80's. the kid at my side has PSP to kill boredom and he plays super mario!
mario brothers--very nostalgia, this is my favorite game ever on family computers! it was so uso back then when the only mode of entertainment for kiddos are computer games. children will sit like hours and hours on weekends to play their favorite games such as: commando, donkey kong, mappy, dirt bike and more. i'm sure you are all familiar with these :)

when i was still a kid, i don't have much time spent in playing outdoor games like patintero or sipa, but hide-and-seek, this is our favorite past time especially if it's full moon! saya!!
what made me decide to admit that i am from the 80's? simple reason would include: everything was so simple back then, traffic was not bad and i don't have anything to do aside from studying and playing ;) hehehehe. in a few weeks, i will 25 and for the past twenty-five years, i have come this far-- many friends whom i can rely to, i have my fair share of ups and downs. my parents had taught me more lessons as much as this "life" had taught me, too. i met a lot of people who had hurt me and let me bleed profusely, but i still remain standing strong and fighting after the pain. i have gained frutiful experiences that i will forever treasure as long as i breathe. i have learned what is love--the love you have for those who need it. i also realized that this is something you can give that costs nothing but the person who received it will be thankful. time--very precious! i am happy that i spent it wisely though i have slips, too. there were a number of times that i wasted it, but i am sorry for myself because i could've used it in doing something more productive.
i am admitting that i am kinda old, hehe ;) my brother will always make fun of me "blast from the past" because i know some oldies (songs that they play on the radio every sunday), movies and celebrities that were so popular during the eighties.
but all i can say is "i love to be back!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" i will spend my birthday with my family, my friends and my special someone :)
i love playing super mario and donkey kong
